SEPTEMBER MARKETS WRAP-UP
Our September markets saw Neville Burns bring his snakes to the markets. Neville has had a relationship with the Tarana area for over 40 years as he began catching snakes here when it was legal to do so. Neville has been involved in public education with reptiles for over 50 years and his shows are designed to be a safety feature as well as entertaining. Neville dealt with myths and fallacies, snake habits and how they react, strategies for avoiding confrontation and first aid for venomous snake bites. He answered any and all questions people had about reptiles on the day and was very popular with our market visitors.
We also had guest musician and Bathurst local, Greg Jeffrey in September. Greg is a regular solo artist and plays with his band at venues across the Central West and when not playing gigs he is a Service Advisor at Bathurst Holden. Greg entertained our market-goers and stall holders with his great music and also spoke about his experience as a Lifeline Crisis Supporter. Thanks again Greg for coming along on what was a great day.
Our Stallholder of the Month was Down to Earth Produce so if you missed Tim on the day, please check out the blog post below to find out more!
