DECEMBER markets wrap up
Sunday, 16th December was our Christmas market at Tarana. As always, the third Sunday not fourth, for December only. There was a tree, a Santa visit, and ice creams for the children - lots of tinsel and glitter and all things festive for this market.
Some members of the newly reformed Tarana Valley Community Group were helping at our central stall, and talking with all those interested about the valley, what's happening, and what could be happening! There was a guest appearance by Sandy Barthgate of 'Clifton' at Locksley. Sandy has written an interesting history of the area, which sold out when first published in 2013. The book has been republished, copies were available to purchase, and he was there to discuss, sign copies, and let us know about the heritage trail that he is heavily involved with.
