DECEMBER MARKETS WRAP-UP
A great Christmas market was had by all! Santa arrived with much needed ice blocks for children and stall holders alike. Thanks Santa - and a very Happy Christmas to all!
Bowie Knife Raffle
A generous donation was made to the markets this month. Karl Cook, our resident blacksmith and knife sharpener, has hand forged a magnificent bowie knife, and leather worker David Morris has hand stamped a beautiful sheath for the knife. The knife and sheath, with a value of $750 have been very generously donated to the markets by Karl & David as a special raffle prize, with all proceeds going to the Tarana Rural Fire Service. When you visit the markets be sure to have a look at the knife and buy a ticket or two in the raffle. A great prize and a very generous donation from two of our special artisans.
