AUGUST MARKETS WRAP-UP
Well we had our first wet (or wettish) market in our 3 years of operation. But no one was complaining - such welcome welcome rain. And we had 28 stall holders and a healthy contingent of visitors, all happy to come out in the damp conditions. We'd like to thank you all so much for your continued and excellent support, even on dreary days. It's a testament to the strength of our market community. And frankly, if we thought the markets could make it rain we'd be there every week, wouldn't we?!!!
But of course the rain had to keep some away, including our guest blacksmith. Not possible to work his forge in the rain. So we will have him back another time, and give you plenty of warning so you can pack up the knives for sharpening.
